Honda Racing sees mixed results at MOTO1000GP in Brazil

Honda Racing achieved mixed results during the sixth stage of the 2026 MOTO1000GP in Santa Cruz do Sul, Brazil. Eric Granado secured a victory in the Sprint race on Saturday after claiming pole position with his Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP.

However, Sunday's main race presented significant challenges due to rain and mechanical issues. Despite starting from pole, Granado faced motorcycle problems from the first lap, ultimately finishing in seventh place to secure important championship points.

Argentine rider Maxi Rocha, who is substituting for the recovering Kevin Fontainha, completed his debut with the team under difficult wet conditions, providing a solid performance as he adapts to the track and the machinery.
