Honda ramps up August Superbike testing ahead of Magny‑Cours restart

Honda's factory team has scheduled six Superbike World Championship test sessions in August to prepare for the series' September return at Magny‑Cours. The programme includes two days at the French Magny‑Cours circuit on August 13‑14, two days at Cremona in Italy on August 18‑19, and a final two‑day test at Estoril in Portugal on August 25‑26.

Feel Racing also plans a testing block for September 9‑10 at Cremona, during which tyre manufacturer Michelin intends to trial its next‑season compounds. However, several teams have expressed reluctance to experiment with new rubber, preferring to focus on the current Pirelli tyres used for race weekends.

These extensive pre‑season activities underline Honda's aggressive development approach and highlight an ongoing technical debate over tyre choices as the championship gears up for its French round.
