Honda reaches 33 million motorcycles produced in Brazil

Honda has reached a production milestone of 33 million motorcycles in Brazil. This achievement coincides with the 50th anniversary of the company's manufacturing plant in Manaus, Amazonas. The facility, which began operations in 1976, currently produces approximately 7,000 units per day across 20 different models. Between January and August of this year, the unit produced over 1.12 million motorcycles, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. The company plans to invest R$ 1.6 billion by 2029 to expand capacity, aiming for an annual production of 1.6 million units.

In the Brazilian market, Honda continues to dominate sales rankings. As of late September 2026, the Honda CG 160 led the market with 42,300 units sold, followed by the Honda Pop 110i and the Honda Biz. The company's various models, including the NXR 160 and XRE series, maintain significant presence in the top sales charts.
