Honda registers Ryden 160 scooter trademark in Indonesia
Honda has officially completed the trademark registration for a new scooter model named the Ryden 160 in Indonesia. While the manufacturer has not released official technical specifications or actual photographs, leaked 3D renders suggest a sharp, aggressive, and sporty design language intended to differentiate it from the more conservative PCX 160.
The Ryden 160 is expected to feature a muscular body with LED headlights and a more athletic stance, potentially targeting a younger demographic in the Southeast Asian market. Although the design is new, the vehicle is anticipated to utilize the existing eSP+ 156.9cc single-cylinder, 4-valve liquid-cooled engine found in the PCX 160, producing a maximum power of 11.8 kW and 14.7 Nm of torque. The model may also include safety features such as ABS and Traction Control System (TCS).
