Hitomi Nakajima wins 100m hurdles at Fujihokuroku World Trial

Hitomi Nakajima won the women's 100m hurdles at the Fujihokuroku World Trial in Yamanashi Prefecture on August 9. Nakajima secured the victory with a time of 12.62 seconds, matching the Japanese national record she had set during the qualifying rounds.

Despite a strong start from competitor Mimi Aoki, Nakajima accelerated throughout the race to finish first. The final featured high-level competition, including Aoki and Yumi Tanaka, a former representative for the World Athletics Championships.

Following her win, Nakajima expressed her joy regarding her recent record-breaking performances and stated her goal to aim for a gold medal at the upcoming Asian Games.
