Honda Taiwan opens pre-orders for new ZR-V e:HEV hybrid SUV

Honda Taiwan has officially opened pre-orders for the new ZR-V e:HEV, a hybrid crossover SUV. The pre-order price is set at 1.229 million TWD. The vehicle is scheduled for an official market launch on September 15, with physical displays and test drives becoming available at Honda Cars showrooms across Taiwan starting September 19.

The ZR-V e:HEV utilizes a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC direct-injection gasoline engine paired with an E-CVT and a dual-motor hybrid system. The electric motor produces 184 horsepower and 32.1 kgm of torque, achieving an engine thermal efficiency of 41%.

Positioned as a crossover that blends SUV utility with sedan-like handling, the ZR-V shares its chassis DNA with the Civic e:HEV. It features a lower center of gravity and specialized chassis tuning to provide more agile driving dynamics compared to traditional SUVs. Customers who complete formal purchase contracts before September 14 may be eligible for limited-edition accessories and an extended 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.
