Honda to celebrate 500th Formula 1 race at US Grand Prix

Honda is set to reach a historic milestone of 500 Formula 1 Grand Prix appearances during the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, scheduled for October 23–25, 2026.

To commemorate the achievement, the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team's AMR26 cars will feature a special ‘Honda500’ anniversary logo. Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) engineers will also wear specially designed commemorative suits during the event.

Since its debut at the 1964 German Grand Prix, Honda has participated in the championship in various capacities, including as a factory team developing chassis and engines, an engine supplier, and a power unit manufacturer. Starting in the 2026 season, Honda will serve as the exclusive works partner for the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, providing the RA626H hybrid power unit.
