Honda to launch new City hatchback and sedan in Brazil
Honda is preparing to launch the new City line in Brazil, with the 2027 models expected to debut between October and November. The rollout will include both hatchback and sedan versions simultaneously.
The updated models feature a redesigned aesthetic inspired by Asian versions, including a more sporty bumper, a wider grille with luminous accents, and integrated LED headlights. The hatchback is available in ELX and Touring versions, with starting prices for the 2025 model noted around R$121,000.
Mechanically, the vehicles will retain the 1.5-liter aspirated engine producing 126 cv of power and 15.8 kgfm of torque, paired with a seven-speed simulated CVT automatic transmission. While a full hybrid e:HEV system is available in Asia, it is expected to arrive in Brazil in 2028, potentially debuting with the HR-V instead.
