Honda to launch updated City sedan and hatchback in Brazil

Honda is planning to launch the updated Honda City in the Brazilian market during the second half of 2026. The new lineup will include both sedan and hatchback body styles, with test units already being spotted on national roads.

The updated model features visual and structural changes, including a redesigned front grille, new headlights, and modified bumpers. The rear has been updated with revised LED taillights and new alloy wheel designs. Inside, the cabin retains the multimedia center but features revised finishing materials, while the hatchback maintains its modular seating system.

Mechanically, the vehicle will utilize a 1.5 16V aspirated flex engine paired with a CVT automatic transmission that simulates seven speeds. Higher-end versions will include the Honda Sensing driver assistance package.

Estimated price ranges for the four main versions are: - LX: R$ 115,000 to R$ 118,000 - EX: R$ 136,000 to R$ 137,000 - EXL: R$ 143,000 to R$ 145,000 - Touring: R$ 152,000 to R$ 155,000

Final pricing will be confirmed by the manufacturer at the official launch date. In anticipation of the new model, dealerships are currently running campaigns to clear existing stock.
