Honda unveils 2027 Vario 125 scooter in Vietnam, priced from 41.9 million dong

Honda Motor Co. announced the 2027 model of its Vario 125 scooter in Vietnam on 21 July. The new range is offered in two trims – a Special version and a Street version – with retail prices of roughly 41.9 million dong for the Special and 42.9 million dong for the Street, inclusive of VAT.

Both versions keep the sport‑oriented design but add a roof‑rack‑style “ghi đông trần” bodywork inspired by naked motorcycles. The bike meets Euro 4 emissions standards, features a 125 cc single‑cylinder engine with Idling‑Stop, LED V‑shaped lighting, a wave‑type front disc brake, CBS combined braking system, USB‑C charging, and a Smart‑Key with remote lock and anti‑theft functions. An LCD instrument panel and a 18‑litre under‑seat storage compartment are also standard. The scooter does not include ABS. Competitor Yamaha’s Gear 125 is priced lower, starting around 30‑34 million dong.
