Honda updates CB300F Twister and reports strong CG 160 sales

Honda has introduced the 2027 lineup for the CB300F Twister in Brazil, marking its first major update since the model's 2023 launch. The new version focuses on safety and technology, introducing Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) to manage rear-wheel traction and providing ABS across all versions. The update replaces the previous CBS version with the CB300F Twister ABS as the entry-level option, while the top-tier CB300F Twister S offers exclusive visual elements and finishes. Despite these changes, the 293.5 cm³ single-cylinder engine and diamond-type steel chassis remain largely unchanged.

In the broader Brazilian motorcycle market, the Honda CG 160 family continues to show significant volume. Data from Fenabrave indicates that between January and August 2026, the CG 160 family—including the Titan, Fan, Start, and Cargo versions—recorded 355,794 registrations. The Fan version was the most registered in the first half of 2026, accounting for 42.8% of the family's total registrations.
