Honda updates CG 160 motorcycle lineup for 2027
Honda has announced updates to its CG 160 motorcycle lineup for the 2027 model year in Brazil, marking 50 years of continuous production in the country. The most significant change is the introduction of the FlexOne system across all four versions—Start, Cargo, Fan, and Titan—allowing the entire range to run on both gasoline and ethanol.
Technological upgrades include the addition of USB-C ports across the range and new headlight flasher functions on the left handlebar for the Start, Cargo, and Fan models. The top-tier Titan version introduces the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) system, which automatically activates turn signals during sudden braking to alert following drivers, along with full LED lighting and ABS brakes.
All models retain the 162.7 cm³ air-cooled single-cylinder engine producing up to 14.7 hp with ethanol. Suggested retail prices in São Paulo, excluding freight and insurance, start at R$ 17,778 for the Start version and reach R$ 21,098 for the Titan. The new lineup is expected to arrive at dealerships starting in November.
