Honda Vietnam introduces 2027 SH125i and SH160i scooter models

Honda Vietnam has unveiled the 2027 versions of the SH125i and SH160i scooters, featuring Euro 4 emission standard engines and a new Aura Black Edition color option for the Sport version. The updated models include technical enhancements such as a 4.2 inch TFT digital display and a Smart Key system with a new ignition-off warning feature to prevent battery drain.

While the SH160i pricing remains unchanged from the 2026 models, the SH125i models show a listed price increase of approximately 1.4 to 1.6 million VND. This discrepancy is attributed to Value Added Tax (VAT) calculations rather than a base price hike. Because the SH125i falls under the 8 percent VAT bracket while the SH160i remains at 10 percent, Honda has listed the 2027 SH125i prices based on a 10 percent rate. If current tax reductions are not extended, the SH125i price is expected to adjust accordingly.

The new models are scheduled to be available at Honda-authorized dealers (HEAD) nationwide starting November 10, 2026.
