Honda Vietnam launches 10-year car warranty program
Honda Vietnam announced a new warranty extension that will cover its passenger cars for up to 10 years. The program applies to vehicles newly registered from 1 August 2026 and to any car already on the road that is less than 10 years old, provided owners follow Honda’s prescribed maintenance schedule – genuine‑part service every six months or 5,000 km, whichever comes first.
Each qualifying service automatically adds six months or 5,000 km to the warranty, extending coverage through the fourth to the tenth year (or up to 170,000 km). The warranty covers the engine, transmission, fuel system, climate control, chassis, suspension, brakes, steering, exhaust, all electrical/electronic parts and the hybrid battery pack. If an owner fails to keep up the required service, the extended warranty lapses. Customers can activate and monitor the program through the My Honda+ mobile app. Honda says the move reduces long‑term repair risk, boosts resale value and strengthens consumer confidence in its vehicles.
