Hondon de los Frailes hosts charity and music events

Hondon de los Frailes is hosting several community events this weekend, including a charity fundraiser for the Barkinside Animal Sanctuary. The sanctuary, a volunteer-run organization, rescues dogs from the Alicante province and other parts of Spain, providing care and rehabilitation for animals regardless of their health or age.

On Sunday, October 11, Barkinside Animal Sanctuary will hold a car boot sale and open-air market at Tipsy Terrace to raise vital funds. The event allows buyers to browse second-hand goods while supporting the sanctuary’s mission to provide lifelong care for animals unable to be rehomed.

Additionally, the Hondon Hub will host a musical event on Saturday, October 10, featuring a tribute performance by Jim McMail, celebrating 40 years of music from the band Simply Red.
