Honduran Armed Forces chief seeks more military personnel
Benjamín Valerio, head of the Honduran Armed Forces, has requested an increase in military personnel to better address emergencies across various sectors of the country.
Valerio stated that a plan has been presented to the President and the National Congress to strengthen the institution's capacity. He emphasized that any increase in personnel must be supported by the corresponding budget. The official noted that a recent increase in personnel funding has already helped improve morale within the Armed Forces.
