Honduran influencer La Tafloo detained in Houston

Honduran content creator Franklin Núñez Palacios, widely known as ‘La Tafloo’, has reportedly been detained in Houston, Texas. According to information shared by influencer Carlos Eduardo Espina, the arrest occurred during the early hours of Friday.

Reports suggest the detention may be linked to an alleged assault against a family member in Harris County. While official confirmation from U.S. authorities regarding specific charges or the exact circumstances of the arrest has not been publicly released, Espina noted that the legal process must first proceed through the local courts.

There is significant speculation regarding the influencer's immigration status. It is suggested that following the conclusion of any local legal proceedings, he could be transferred to the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to face immigration processes. Espina emphasized that these remain accusations and that no final determination has been made by a judge.
