Honduran President Nasry Asfura to attend 2027 economic forum

Honduran President Nasry Asfura is set to participate in the 2027 Economic Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean in Panama. The announcement was made by Foreign Minister Mireya Agüero during an official visit to Panama to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss cooperation following a recent earthquake in the region.

In domestic developments, former President José Manuel Zelaya Rosales has criticized the Asfura administration. Representing the opposition, Zelaya claimed the current government is failing in various sectors and argued that the administration is prioritizing the interests of external entities and large corporations over the needs of the Honduran people.
