Honduras faces Martinique in CONCACAF Nations League

The Honduras national football team faces Martinique in a crucial CONCACAF Nations League Group B match at the Pierre Aliker Stadium. Following a 1-0 victory over Jamaica, Honduras seeks a second win to maintain its chances of advancing to the quarterfinals and securing a spot in the 2027 Gold Cup.

Coach José Francisco Molina has confirmed that striker Dereck Moncada is available for selection after CONCACAF overturned a red card issued during the previous match. However, the squad faces uncertainty regarding Denil Maldonado, who is dealing with a knee injury. Molina has indicated he may rotate the lineup to provide fresh legs for the upcoming international window.

Martinique, managed by Fabien Mercadal, enters the match seeking its first points of the competition after losses to El Salvador and Suriname. The match will be officiated by Trinidad and Tobago's Kwinsi Williams.
