Honeybear, The Band announces new album ‘The Cure’

Vancouver-based vintage soul, blues, and roots quartet Honeybear, The Band has released its new album, ‘The Cure,’ on September 4. The 11-track project serves as a follow-up to the group's debut.

To celebrate the release, the band has scheduled two shows: one at Upstairs in Victoria on September 9 featuring Emmett Jerome, and a homecoming performance at the Hollywood Theatre in Vancouver on September 10.

The album features a variety of guest musicians, including Mike Kenney, Cindy Fairbank, Geoff Hicks, Tim Watson, and several horn players. The recording process involved Light Machine and Afterlife Studios, with Jeff Zipp handling mixing and Doug Krebs managing mastering.
