Honeycomb: The World Beyond to launch September 8 on PC and consoles

Frozen Way Studio and publisher Snail Games USA have announced that the sandbox survival game ‘Honeycomb: The World Beyond’ will launch on September 8 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A free demo is scheduled to arrive on Steam on August 31, and the game will also be playable at Gamescom.

Players take on the role of Hennessy, an explorer sent to the uninhabited planet Sota7 to find solutions for Earth’s environmental issues. The gameplay focuses on scientific exploration across various biomes, including jungles and volcanic fields. Key mechanics include bioengineering, where players use techniques like grafting and allogamy to create hybrid life forms.

The game also features modular base construction and laboratory management, allowing players to build shelters, conduct research, and store resources to support their survival and scientific mission.
