HoneyCON cybersecurity congress held in Guadalajara

The eleventh edition of the HoneyCON congress took place in Guadalajara from September 24 to 26, 2026, drawing approximately 500 participants. Organized by the HoneySEC association, the three-day event focused on cybersecurity, community technological outreach, and educational training.

Activities included technical conferences at the UNED Associated Center in Guadalajara, industrial cybersecurity workshops, and practical sessions such as lock picking and internet safety guidance for seniors. The event also engaged students from Guadalajara and Alcalá de Henares to explore career paths in the digital sector.

During the congress, the Cuenca Cybersecurity Days were recognized for their decade-long commitment to promoting and consolidating the regional technological community. The event served to strengthen digital ties and collaboration between the Guadalajara and Cuenca regions.
