Honeywell CT32 handheld device boosts retail shelf‑stocking efficiency in Germany

Honeywell’s CT32 mobile data‑entry (MDE) device is marketed to German retailers, especially small and medium‑sized stores, to speed up the process of moving new deliveries from receiving to shelves. Weighing about 269 g and featuring a 6‑inch full‑HD display, the handheld is designed for long shifts on the shop floor.

The CT32’s FlexRange™ scan engine can read barcodes from close range up to several metres, reducing the need for staff to repeatedly reposition items or walk long distances. This ergonomic, smartphone‑style device supports tasks such as inventory checks, price verification, handling click‑and‑collect orders and documenting discrepancies, helping retailers maintain accurate stock levels with limited personnel.

By cutting unnecessary walking and scan attempts, the CT32 aims to save minutes per shift, improving overall productivity for German retail operations.
