Hong Bang International University (HIU) Hospital, the first private university hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, has officially opened. Owned by the Nguyen Hoang Group, the facility is designed to serve as a dual-purpose institution for public medical examination and treatment, as well as a clinical training and research hub for health science students.

The hospital features a total floor area of nearly 40,000 square meters. While designed for a 350-bed capacity, it is currently operating with an initial scale of 170 beds. The facility includes 28 departments, 2 specialized units, and 18 clinics, supported by a staff of approximately 250 personnel, including over 130 doctors and pharmacists.

During the inauguration, Ho Chi Minh City Vice Chairman Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized the importance of the school-hospital model in developing medical human resources and advancing high-tech, smart healthcare. The hospital aims to align with regional goals to establish Ho Chi Minh City as a modern healthcare center for the ASEAN region.
