Hong Dao and Phuong Anh Dao star in new film ‘Ngay con con me’

Producers of the film ‘Ngay con con me’ have released the first images and footage, highlighting the intense performances of Hong Dao and Phuong Anh Dao. The two actresses, who previously appeared together in ‘Mai’, portray a mother and daughter in this new production.

In a released 34-second clip, the character Ba Tim (played by Hong Dao) slaps her daughter May (played by Phuong Anh Dao) during a moment of high tension. Hong Dao explained that the character’s actions stem from frustration and a perceived lack of affection from her daughter toward the family. Director Vu Ngoc Dang praised the actresses for their portrayal of these emotional conflicts.

Phuong Anh Dao noted that she drew from her own personal experiences regarding communication gaps and misunderstandings within her family to inform her performance.
