Machado met Hoàng Hên in Brazil in 2023 before moving to Hanoi to support his football career in Vietnam. She has been a frequent presence at his matches, including the ASEAN Cup 2026, where she supported him during his debut for the Vietnam national team and their subsequent championship victory.
