Hong Kong colleges open walk‑in sub‑degree admissions as JUPAS results released

Six Hong Kong colleges – HKU SPACE Community College, HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College, CUSCS, UOW College Hong Kong, Lingnan Institute of Further Education and Hong Kong College of Technology – will accept walk‑in applications for associate degree and higher diploma programmes on 5 August (and for most, also 6 August) 2026, coinciding with the release of Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) main‑round offers. Applicants can apply in person or online, with same‑day decisions possible at HKU SPACE Community College and designated centres for the other institutions.

The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and Sun Life Hong Kong Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding to launch talent‑development initiatives for students in the university’s Master of Science in Insurance programme. The partnership will provide annual scholarships, internship placements, a student project competition and corporate visits, aiming to equip graduates with practical experience and industry insight for Hong Kong’s insurance sector.
