Hong Kong developer New World launches pricing for Yuen Long residential project

New World Development (新地) has released the first price list for its Yuen Long "Qian Yu" residential project. The initial offering includes 120 units – 12 one‑bedroom and 108 two‑bedroom flats ranging from 289 to 412 square feet. After applying a maximum 16 % discount, prices start at HK$3.931 million (about HK$12,852 per sq ft) and rise to HK$5.878 million (about HK$14,795 per sq ft), with an average price of HK$14,039 per sq ft.

The development, located at 1A Ying Ho Road, offers garden and mountain views and is positioned near multiple bus routes and MTR stations. An open house and ticket‑sale event is scheduled for Saturday, with sales expected to commence the following week and a further price list to be released soon. The developer highlights market‑aligned pricing, cash rebates up to 1 % of the purchase price, and flexible payment options to attract both local and mainland buyers, especially younger purchasers.

The launch follows recent transactions in nearby projects, where unit prices have ranged from HK$14,500 to HK$19,600 per sq ft, underscoring the competitiveness of the new offering.
