Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel to Close Temporarily from Oct 12 for Renovations
Disney announced that the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel will stop accepting new arrivals after October 10, 2026, with the entire property shutting down on October 12 for a refurbishment.
The closure removes roughly 400 rooms from the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and temporarily suspends its key dining venues, including Enchanted Garden Restaurant, Crystal Lotus, and Walt’s Café. Disney has not provided a reopening date.
Renovation work began in June 2026 and runs each day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the project potentially causing noise or odors. Guests can stay at other hotels on the resort while the flagship hotel is closed.
