Veteran Hong Kong film producer Shi Nan Sheng, known for her work with director Tsui Hark and as a key figure of the New Art City "Seven" that shaped classic Hong Kong cinema, has been reported seriously ill and is receiving treatment at a Hong Kong hospital. The 74‑year‑old was first reported in May to be thin and using a crutch, prompting concern among industry peers.
