Hong Kong hosts 2026 World Fencing Championships, backed by Chow Tai Fook and Jackson Wang
Hong Kong will stage the Kerry World Fencing Championships from 22 to 30 July 2026, the first time the city has hosted the elite tournament. More than 120 countries and regions will compete in individual and team events, bringing the sport’s top athletes to the city.
Singer‑athlete Jackson Wang, a Hong Kong‑born former youth Olympian in fencing, announced he will appear at AsiaWorld‑Expo on Saturday (25 July) to support the local team. Jewellery group Chow Tai Fook is the event’s diamond sponsor and has presented each of the 24 Hong Kong athletes with a specially designed pure‑gold braided bracelet bearing the official emblem, fencing motifs and the words “Hong Kong China 2026”.
