Hong Kong Housing Authority to begin Green Form flat selection in August
The Hong Kong Housing Authority has announced that eligible applicants for the 2025 Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Scheme will begin selecting flats in batches starting August 25. Selection appointments will be conducted at the Authority’s dedicated sales office in Kwun Tong.
The current offering includes over 800 new flats at the Shing Chi Court development in Kowloon Bay, with saleable areas ranging from approximately 26 to 43.6 square metres. In addition to the new units, the scheme includes about 120 resale Green Form flats and approximately 400 recovered flats from the Tenants Purchase Scheme.
Prices for the new Shing Chi Court units range from $1.68 million to $3.54 million. These flats are being sold at 40 per cent below the assessed market value, which represents a 10 per cent higher discount than the standard Home Ownership Scheme. This initiative is part of the Authority’s effort to assist Public Rental Housing tenants and other qualified applicants in achieving upward mobility through the housing ladder.
