Hong Kong Immigration Department expands e-Channel registration at Huanggang Port

The Hong Kong Immigration Department has established a new registration station on the fifth floor of the departure level at Huanggang Port. This facility is designed to assist citizens and their children aged 7 to 17 who have not yet registered for the “Cooperative e-Channel” via the mobile application, allowing families to complete registration on-site.

Immigration Director Kwok Chun-fung and Deputy Director Cheng Wo-muk visited the site to inspect operations and encourage frontline staff. The department stated it will continue to monitor passenger and vehicle flows in real-time, adjusting staffing levels flexibly and maintaining close coordination with mainland Chinese authorities to ensure smooth border crossings, particularly during weekends.
