Hong Kong racing updates: Jockey John Size wins Group 2 Elite Bowl

At the Sha Tin dirt night race on Wednesday, trainer John Size utilized a selective strategy by entering only two horses, ‘Charm Star’ and ‘Tak Sin Chi Yu’, owned by sisters Deng Yongqi and Deng Yonglin. The Deng family, led by veteran owner Deng Wai-ban, remains a significant supporter of the Hong Kong horse racing industry.

In a separate recent achievement, the horse ‘Calculated Blizzard’ secured the Group 2 Elite Bowl. Owners Pang Hei-ting and his father, Pang Wai-ning, expressed significant excitement following the victory, noting that they had waited two years for their first major win in a Group 2 race.
