Hong Kong Sevens set for April 9-11, 2027 at Kai Tak Stadium

The Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens will be held at Kai Tak Sports Park from April 9 to 11, 2027, confirming the dates for one of the sport’s marquee events. The 2026 edition attracted 113,395 fans over the weekend, with South Africa winning the men’s title and New Zealand’s women securing their fifth consecutive Hong Kong Sevens victory.

The Hong Kong tournament is part of the 2027 HSBC SVNS Series, which will begin in Dubai on November 28‑29, 2026 and continue through Cape Town, Singapore, Perth, Vancouver (March 6‑7, 2027) and New York before culminating in the World Championship across Hong Kong, Valladolid and Bordeaux. World Rugby Sevens Series General Manager Sam Pinder highlighted the series’ record‑breaking attendance and growing digital engagement.
