Hong Kong to host major fintech and venture capital forums in 2026

Hong Kong is set to host two significant technology and finance events in late 2026, reinforcing its position as a strategic hub connecting global markets with the Chinese Mainland.

Hong Kong FinTech Week and the StartmeupHK Festival will collaborate under the theme ‘Fintech Nexus: Bridging the World, Building the Future’. The event will focus on three primary pillars: AI+, Finance+, and Go Global, featuring high-level speakers from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government and international financial institutions.

Additionally, the Cyberport Venture & Capital Forum (CVCF) will take place on November 4-5, 2026. The forum, themed ‘Scaling in a Changing World: Winning the Next Competitive Cycle’, will address emerging trends such as Agentic AI, digital assets, and One-Person Companies (OPCs). The event aims to facilitate investor matching and explore Hong Kong’s role as a gateway to ASEAN, the Middle East, and global innovation networks.
