Hong Ngoc Hospital hosts international orthopedic surgery workshop

Hong Ngoc - Phuc Truong Minh General Hospital hosted an international workshop on October 17-18, 2026, titled “Advances in Hip and Knee Joint Surgery.” The event focused on modern developments in orthopedic surgery, including minimally invasive techniques, navigation systems, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The workshop brought together 13 experts from 10 prestigious orthopedic centers across Vietnam, Austria, Japan, Germany, India, and Taiwan. The program included 18 reports across two professional sessions and featured two live-streamed surgeries from the operating room. The event was conducted using surgical training standards from the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS).

Philipp Agathonos, the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Vietnam, attended the event, highlighting international medical cooperation. Ha Kim Trung, Deputy Medical Director of the hospital, stated that the goal of such international scientific workshops is to build academic bridges between Vietnamese and global experts to enhance professional expertise.
