Hong Yun Hearing Aid and Ding Ding Pharmacy donate hearing aids in Changhua

Hong Yun Hearing Aid and Ding Ding Pharmacy have launched the ‘Hearing Love Hope Project’ to support vulnerable residents in Changhua County, Taiwan. The initiative involves the donation of 60 advanced digital hearing aids, valued at over 3.6 million TWD, to low-income individuals with hearing impairments.

The program aims to improve communication quality for the elderly and reduce the financial burden on families. In collaboration with the Changhua County Assistive Technology Resource Center and various social welfare agencies, the project provides free one-on-one hearing tests, consultations, and professional fitting services.

Health experts note that hearing loss in seniors is linked to increased risks of dementia, depression, and disability. To address this, the partners are also promoting community-integrated healthcare services, allowing residents to access hearing tests and health consultations at local pharmacies.
