Hongseong County to host Green Narae Dream Yard youth festival

Hongseong County will host the ‘2026 Green Narae Dream Yard’ on August 29 at the Namdanghang Marine Fountain Park in Seobu-myeon. The event is designed to provide local youth with career exploration opportunities within the agricultural and rural sectors, aiming to foster a positive perception of rural life.

The festival will feature 15 educational and experiential booths, including drone and smart farm training, agricultural machinery operation, animal interaction experiences, and various creative workshops such as making traditional Korean sweets and eco-printing bags. Local students can participate in these booths for free on a first-come, first-served basis.

A highlight of the event is the ‘I am an Agriculture and Rural Ambassador!’ leadership contest, where teams of middle and high school students can promote Hongseong’s agricultural products and environment through dance, song, or skits. The event will also include busking performances, quiz events, and a free shuttle service circulating between Naepo New Town, Hongseong-eup, and Seobu-myeon.
