Hongseong Fire Station and Hongseong Medical Center held a meeting on September 22 to discuss emergency patient response strategies for the upcoming Chuseok holiday period.

The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between fire services and medical institutions to ensure rapid first aid and efficient hospital transport for severe emergency patients. The two organizations agreed to collaborate on the swift acceptance of critical patients and to establish protocols for transferring patients to appropriate medical facilities based on emergency room capacity.

Additionally, the parties discussed procedures for cases requiring hospital transfers, including identifying available receiving hospitals while a patient is undergoing treatment and utilizing 119 emergency services to support the transfer process.
