Honkai: Star Rail leaks suggest free character rewards and upcoming buffs

Leaks regarding the upcoming version 4.7 update of Honkai: Star Rail suggest significant character changes and rewards. One report indicates that players may be able to receive a free 5-star character and a special Ex-Eidolon. The Ex-Eidolon mechanic, which functions as an E7 power-up, is rumored to be available for Acheron, Jing Yuan, and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. However, players may only be able to select one of these three for free, with the others potentially tied to paid events.

Additionally, leaks suggest a fourth set of Novaflare buffs is forthcoming. These updates are expected to target characters currently considered outside the game's meta, specifically Ruan Mei, The Herta, and Sunday. While the exact nature of these buffs remains unconfirmed, they are speculated to enhance supporting abilities or damage output to improve character viability in endgame content.
