Honkai: Star Rail releases Version 4.6 update with new character Pearl

HoYoverse has released the Version 4.6 update, titled ‘Dance with the Beast Before the Moon Rises’, for its space fantasy RPG, Honkai: Star Rail. This update introduces a new limited five-star character, Pearl, an Elation-path Ice character.

Alongside Pearl’s debut, the update features a rerun of the five-star character Feiying and includes new Trailblaze Quests and in-game events such as ‘Love, Ghosts, and Robots’. Players can also participate in a login bonus event to receive up to 10 Star Rail Special Passes.

In terms of gameplay meta, Pearl is noted as a highly essential sustain character for Elation-based teams, scaling primarily on DEF. The update also introduces a new cycle for the Memory of Chaos, featuring specific boss encounters like Zandar and requiring strategic team compositions involving elements such as Fire, Quantum, Physical, and Ice.
