HONOR Achieves Second-Largest Smartphone Share in Middle East and Launches Budget X7e in Philippines
Global AI device maker HONOR announced that it has become the second‑largest smartphone vendor in the Middle East, capturing a 24% share in the US$300–500 segment and posting a 73% year‑on‑year regional growth in Q1 2026. The rise is driven by strong sales of its mid‑to‑high‑end 600 Series and the durable X9d, as well as a localized strategy that combines premium features with affordable pricing across the Gulf markets.
At the same time, HONOR Philippines introduced the X7e smartphone during a “7.7 Mega Rainy Season” online sale. Priced as low as ₱9,999 with up to ₱5,000 discount, the X7e offers a 7500 mAh battery, 45 W fast‑charging, 50 MP AI camera, 5‑star drop protection and IP64 resistance, targeting cost‑conscious consumers who need long endurance and AI features.
Both moves reflect HONOR’s broader push to expand its ecosystem beyond flagship devices, emphasizing cross‑platform compatibility and a “portfolio‑for‑all” approach that serves diverse market segments.
