HONOR and OPPO launch high-capacity battery smartphones in Vietnam

The Vietnamese smartphone market has seen the arrival of two new models featuring large battery capacities exceeding 8,000 mAh. Despite the similar battery focus, there is a significant price gap between the two devices.

The HONOR 600S 5G is priced starting at 10.49 million VND for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version, with the 8GB RAM/256GB version costing 11.99 million VND. It features an 8,100 mAh battery and 45W fast charging.

In contrast, the OPPO A7 Pro 5G is positioned in a higher price bracket, starting at 13.49 million VND for the 8GB RAM/128GB version, reaching 15.49 million VND for the 8GB RAM/256GB model. This represents a price difference of approximately 3.5 million VND for the same memory configuration. The higher cost of the OPPO model is attributed to hardware differences, including its AMOLED 120Hz display, 50MP AI selfie camera, and Dimensity 6360 MAX 5G chipset.
