Honor begins rollout of MagicOS 11 with enhanced AI features
Honor has begun the rollout of MagicOS 11 in China, a new operating system based on Android 17 that emphasizes deep artificial intelligence integration. The system features a new design aesthetic described as “Liquid-Glass” and utilizes new architectures, such as “Luminous” and “Hummingbird,” to improve system animations by approximately 20 percent and accelerate program launches by at least 15 percent.
A central component of the update is the enhanced YOYO intelligent agent, which is designed to learn user habits and execute complex task chains consisting of up to 100 steps. The OS also focuses on an intention-based interface that interprets on-screen content to streamline user tasks.
Additionally, Honor is expanding its Learning Space app to smartphones, providing AI-driven homework assistance and synchronized educational materials. This app requires the MagicOS 11 update and is being rolled out to compatible devices, including various Magic and WIN series models.
