HONOR debuts cinematic mobile devices at Venice Film Festival

At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, HONOR debuted its new portable cinematic devices, including the world’s first Robot Phone and the flagship Magic9 Pro Max. Through a strategic imaging partnership with ARRI, HONOR aims to make professional-grade filmmaking more accessible via mobile technology.

The HONOR Robot Phone features a mechanical gimbal design, while the Magic9 Pro Max incorporates ARRI’s design language and branding on its camera module. The collaboration integrates ARRI’s professional image science into smartphone hardware, offering features such as ARRI LogC3 for enhanced highlight and shadow preservation, ARRI Wide Gamut 3 for expanded color space, and ARRI Looks for controlled cinematic color styles. This integration is intended to support a seamless mobile workflow from capture to post-production.
