HONOR expands into urban mobility with ADO Air 20 Pro folding e-bike

HONOR has expanded its CHOICE ecosystem into the urban mobility sector with the announcement of the HONOR CHOICE Folding E-Bike ADO Air 20 Pro. Developed in collaboration with ADO, this folding electric bicycle is designed for daily city commuting.

The e-bike features a 250 W BAFANG H700 rear motor equipped with an internal two-speed automatic transmission. This system automatically selects a shorter gear for starts and climbs to provide higher torque, switching to a longer gear (1:1.36) at higher speeds to prevent the sensation of pedaling without resistance.

To ensure a natural riding experience, the bike utilizes a bilateral torque sensor that detects effort on both pedals within milliseconds, minimizing the delay often found in cadence-based sensors. Additionally, the traditional chain is replaced by a carbon fiber belt drive, which is intended to be more durable and quieter. The device also includes an IPX7-rated display and NFC-enabled startup functionality.
