Honor expands MagicOS 11 beta testing and feature support
Honor has announced a significant update to its MagicOS 11 operating system, expanding the compatibility of its ‘Tap to Share’ feature to over 60 third-party applications. This update allows users to share content such as driving routes via Amap, outdoor tracks via Liangbudu, files via Baidu Netdisk, and audio via Ximalaya through simple physical contact between devices.
The feature also supports cross-brand interoperability with Android devices from OPPO, vivo, and Xiaomi. For Apple users, file and contact sharing is possible between MagicOS 11 devices and iPhones or Macs via the Honor Interconnect app.
Additionally, Honor has launched the third phase of its MagicOS 11 closed beta program. This rollout includes 20 more devices, such as the Honor Magic V3, Magic 6 series, and the newly launched Robot Phone. The beta program offers 2,000 slots per device series, split between log and no-log versions, accessible through the My Honor app.
