HONOR humanoid robots debut in Malaysia at marathon and national parade

HONOR has made its first international appearance outside of China in Malaysia, showcasing its humanoid robotics technology during the Malaysia Marathon 2026 and the national Merdeka Day parade at Dataran Putrajaya.

The HONOR Robotics D1 completed a 10km run, earning Asia and ASEAN records for a humanoid robot completing such a distance. The event served as a real-world test of the robot's battery life, heat tolerance, and balance under local weather conditions. Additionally, the HONOR Robotics A1 participated in a 5km route alongside government officials and participants.

During the national parade, the humanoid robot also drew attention by carrying a purple smartphone, which HONOR confirmed is the upcoming HONOR X9e Pro model. This device is expected to be introduced to the local market soon, featuring improvements in physical durability and battery longevity.
