HONOR launches ARRI film mode and AiMAGE system for mobile content creation

HONOR, the global AI‑device maker, unveiled its latest mobile imaging technology at the HONOR Imaging Technology Launch in Hengdian. The company announced a partnership with ARRI to bring a professional‑grade film mode to smartphones, introducing the Optics‑Intelligence Evolution principle that combines advanced optics with AI‑driven processing.

The new HONOR AiMAGE system integrates a dedicated chip, cloud‑based image processing, and color‑science tools to give creators cinematic control on mobile devices. Speakers including Harald Brendel, director of Image Science at ARRI, Oscar‑winner Claudio Miranda, cinematographer Vang Boksue, chief HONOR imaging engineer Luo Vei, and image‑perception expert Džao Fučen discussed how the collaboration aims to translate professional film workflows to everyday creators.
